The Electoral Commission has established a dedicated enquiry line to assist councillors and candidates. In order to ensure that councillors and prospective candidates receive consistent information, any enquiries regarding the Regulation, and electoral legislation generally, should be made to Elections Enquiries on 1300 135 736.

A key focus for Council is to encourage more women and Aboriginal people to stand for Council in the upcoming September elections.
