Beware of Weeds.....
Due to the topographical and climatic features of the Shire the growth of vegetation is prolific and abundant. Unfortunately not all of this vegetation is desirable.
When purchasing a property make sure you are informed and aware of the presence of both noxious and environmental weeds. Your beautiful paradise may well be a weed haven - requiring many years of hard work and resources to bring under control.
Noxious weeds are declared under the Noxious Weeds Act 1993 and must be controlled. Environmental weeds have a detrimental impact upon natural ecosystems - for which the shire is renowned.
Before you sign your contract ensure you are aware of what weeds are present on your property and what you have to do to manage and control them.
