Demolition & Removal of Rural Fire Stations

Expressions of Interest

Expressions of interest are called for the demolition and removal of the following brigade stations to enable the sites to be cleared for the construction of new fire stations.

Darkwood Rural Fire Station
Darkwood Road, Darkwood
Lot 1 DP713508

Work Required:

• Existing Powerbox to be transferred to a temporary builders pole
• Demolish existing shed down to existing slab level
• Remove all materials from the site
• Slab to be left in situ

Thora Rural Fire Station
Darkwood Road, Thora
Reserve 95685 Parish of Never Never

Work Required:

• Existing Powerbox to be transferred to a temporary builders pole
• Demolish existing shed down to existing slab level
• Remove all materials from the site
• Slab to be left in situ

Expression of Interest close: 31 May 2008
Successful applicant to be notified:  9 June 2008
Demolition to commence:  16 June 2008 and be completed by 4 July 2008
