Please refer to the BOM web site regarding flood warnings for the Bellinger & Kalang River systems.
The deck level of Lavenders Bridge - Bridge Street, Bellingen is RL 4.9m. Please note that during flood periods Lavenders Bridge may be closed prior to the Bellinger River reaching this level depending on the circumstances at the time. It is believed that all roads within the Shire (other than those indicated in the table) are now open to traffic however motorists are advised to proceed with caution as Council Staff have not been able to inspect all roads for possible pavement damage.
Residents in Mount Street, and McDougall Place, Fernmount could experience delays of up to 15 minutes on 19/11/2009 as Council completes the emergency repairs to the damaged culvert near the intersection of Mount Street and McDougall Place.
