Important update
On 23 December 2021, the NSW Government re-introduced some COVID-19 restrictions throughout the state. Under the new rules:
From 12:01am Friday 24 December
- Masks will be compulsory in all indoor non-residential settings, including for hospitality staff and in offices, unless eating or drinking.
From 12:01am Monday 27 December
- QR code check-ins will be compulsory, including for hospitality and retail; and
- Hospitality venues, including pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes will move to 1 person per 2 sqm rule indoors, with no density limit for outdoor settings.
All settings will remain in place until Wednesday, 27 January 2022.

COVID-19 Testing
It is vital that people monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms and, if they appear, immediately get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result. For information on where to locate a test clinic visit the NSW Health website

Waste Services
Regular household three-bin kerbside collections continue as normal. Waste facilities at Bellingen, Dorrigo and Raleigh will continue to operate albeit under Covid restrictions.
The Bower House Reuse Shop at the Raleigh Waste Management Facility is now open.
Bellingen Shire Branch Libraries
Libraries are open with normal operating hours.
Council will continue to provide a ‘Click & Collect’ service. For more information, visit the Library web page .

Swimming pools are now open with normal summer timetables, and lifeguard patrols continue at Bellingen Shire beaches.
