If you need general planning or pre-lodgement advice, our Customer Service team will refer you to Council’s Duty Planner service. 

Duty Planner phone service

You can obtain general planning advice from Council’s Duty Planner by phoning 02 6655 7300 on Tuesdays between 8.30am and 3.00pm.  

The Duty Planner can’t prepare your development documentation or provide legal advice but can help you:   

  • understand development application information requirements
  • interpret the Bellingen Local Environmental Plan 2010 and Bellingen Development Control Plan 2017
  • locate planning information on Council and other agency websites
