About the Bridge

Tysons Bridge is located on Kalang Road, Kalang. The current timber bridge is ageing and showing signs of deterioration. Construction of the temporary access bi track and demolition of the old timber bridge is due to be completed late July 2022. Piling works for the new Bridge are due to start in early August 2022. The new concrete bridge will be a single lane structure, which will improved the integrity of the bridge and will reduce recurrent maintenance costs into the future. Community access will be maintained throughout the construction period. As of August 2022, piling and substructure works are underway. In October 2022 construction was completed.
