About the Project

Bellingen Shire Council was successful in its Fixing Local Roads (Round 1) grant application and received funding to renew the very poor areas of surface condition. The project will help to significantly reduce the ongoing maintenance cost and provide a safer, more reliant network while supporting the regional development of our community.

Project Scope

• Minor vegetation clearing
• Stormwater culvert replacement and/or extensions
• Minor pavement reconstruction
• Re-sealing of road surface
  
  

Community Impacts

There is currently traffic control on the road as preparation works are being undertaken prior to sealing works beginning, meaning there may be some delays through the work zones. During any major disruptions, notifications to the community will be provided via online channels and VMS boards.
