Urunga Library staff have come up with a solution to your tech problems with the introduction of a new Tech Help service, providing one-on-one support for folk needing “hands on” help with their computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
Computers, phones and tablets help us connect with the online world. However these devices can also be a source of enormous frustration when things don’t work the way we need them to.
Experienced tech whiz Phil can help set up your new device or trouble shoot problems, help you with email and social media functions, demonstrate specific software and techniques, discuss file and photo storage and management, and generally help you make the most of the online world. If he doesn’t know the answer he’ll do his best to find out!
The one-to-one sessions are held between 10am and 1pm each Tuesday at Urunga Library and are open to all, regardless of age or experience. Each session is for one hour, which allows enough time for individuals to learn and practice new skills without being too long or overly complicated.
