Upper Viewing Platform at Dangar Falls Open
Council is pleased to announce that the upper level of the Dangar Falls Viewing Platform project has been completed today, and accessible to public from this afternoon, in time for the ANZAC Day weekend.

Bellingen Shire Council have a new online and printable Community Directory resource which is available to groups and organisations in the Bellingen Shire. This project is part of Council’s commitment to enhancing community resilience as part of the Bushfire Recovery and Resilience Program.
Scotchman Road Bellingen Re-opened
A landslip that resulted from the March flood event necessitated the closure of Scotchman Road. The slip occurred approximately 50m along Scotchman Road from the Bowra Street/Lovell Street entry.
Works have been finalised this afternoon Thursday 22 April 2021, with the road reopened to traffic from 2pm.
Waste Facility Closures Sunday 25th ANZAC Day
Council would like to remind the community that all waste facilities and transfer stations are closed on public holidays. All council waste facilities will be closed on Sunday 25th for the ANZAC day public holiday.
