The work is part of ‘The Jaliigirr Project’ being implemented by Bellingen Shire Council with Australian Government grant funding led by North Coast Local Land Services.

Bellingen Shire Council trials Recycling of Polystyrene
The Raleigh Waste Management Centre has a free drop-off facility for clean, expanded polystyrene. The drop-off area is clearly signposted and for the period of the trial commercial quantities will be accepted at no charge.

Bellingen Memorial Hall and Dorrigo Community Hall have solid reputations as places in the community where larger events take place. The Bellingen Citizens Centre, Urunga Literary Institute Hall and Senior Citizens Centre and Hickory House also host regular activities for seniors and others in the community.
