Road Reconstruction Works on Waterfall Way Raleigh

RALEIGH DAM, WATERFALL WAY PAVEMENT WIDENING & REHABILITATION

Roads & Maritime Services (RMS) propose to undertake road reconstruction works for safety improvements along the Waterfall Way in the vicinity of Raleigh Dam.  The works involve  pavement  reconstruction  and  shoulder  widening  in  order  to  improve  the condition of  the road surface, widen lanes, establish a  significant road shoulder and improve clearance zones alongside the roadway.

Work will begin on 4th December 2017 and is expected to be completed by the end of April 2018 weather permitting. Please note that there will be no work carried out over the Christmas break.

Work hours will be between 7am and 6pm from Monday to Friday and between 8am and 1pm on Saturday. Night works may be required however consultation will be carried out with nearby residents beforehand.

There will be some temporary traffic changes including lane closures and a reduced speed limit. Motorists may experience delays of up to five minutes outside of peak hours and are advised to allow extra travel time.
