Upcoming program for water main renewal and flushing of water and flushing of water mains - Urunga, Dorrigo, Repton & Mylestom areas

Bellingen Shire Council would like to advise residents in Urunga, Dorrigo, Repton and Mylestom areas, that as part of an ongoing program to ensure Council is providing the highest quality of water to the community, it will be renewing a section of water main in Urunga plus the flushing of water mains in various locations detailed below, excluding weekends and Public Holidays and weather permitting.

The dates, times and areas are depicted in the table below (Please note the renewal of a water main necessitating the road closure highlighted in bold).

There will be no disruptions to school bus operations during the road closures and arrangements have been made for emergency services.

During this period some residents may notice some discolouration of their water supply.  Please run your taps to clear the discolouration which often occurs after the flushing process.  Should the problem persist, please contact Council.
