Urunga Library is providing an opportunity for Shire residents to learn how to handcraft their own book.

This six hour workshop on Coptic stitch book-binding will be delivered over two consecutive days in February, (Thursday 22 and Friday 23) which each session from 10.00am to 1.00pm.
Shire Librarian, Surinder Kaur says “Coptic stitch bindings are simple, versatile and beautiful - from personal memoir writing to intricate Artists Books. The simplicity of this binding style makes it an excellent starting point for developing traditional bookbinding skills.”

Bookings are essential and places limited.
