Young People Council regularly checks in with young people in the Bellingen Shire about what's important and through the Bello Youth Hub provides programs and activities for young people with a focus on recreation, arts, music and leadership/capacity building.
Becoming an Australian Citizen Council hosts citizenship ceremonies for those who wish to become Australian citizens.
Volunteering Bellingen Shire Council has volunteers in many areas including visitor services, assisting in our libraries and halls, undertaking projects with our sustainability team and enhancing park and reserve areas. All of these contributions make the community a stronger and more sustainable place.
Access and Inclusion Reference Group This Access and Inclusion Reference Group enables the community to provide feedback and advice on access and inclusion, as well as ageing well in our Shire. This group aims to ensure that the voices of older adults, people with disabilities, carers, those with access needs and advocates are heard.
