Volunteer with Council

Volunteers are at the heart of our community. At Bellingen Shire Council, volunteers support a wide range of services, including visitor information, library services, managing community halls and museums, working with our sustainability team, and enhancing parks and reserves. These contributions help make our community stronger, more connected, and more sustainable.

Council values the time, skills, and energy that volunteers bring. Our Volunteer Policy(PDF, 262KB) ensures that all volunteers and staff have clear guidance about their roles and responsibilities, creating a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved.
