Leading By Example

Council manages a large number of buildings across the Shire including Sports Clubs, Community Halls, Libraries, Museums, Community Centres and Public Amenities. 

Council is looking at water use in these areas to work towards local water resilience. 

Council is currently investigating:

  • Water consumption in Council-managed buildings.
  • Upgrade costs for standpipes and water fittings. 
  • Options for recycled water use.
