2. Becoming a Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to help your community!

Bellingen Shire Council has volunteers in many areas including visitor services, assisting in our libraries, undertaking projects with our sustainability team and enhancing park and reserve areas.    All of these contributions make the community a stronger and more sustainable place.

Bellingen Council recognises the amazing contributions that volunteers make and therefore supports its volunteers.  The Volunteer Policy provides volunteers and staff with clear information about their roles and responsibilities when engaged in Council’s volunteer programs.
