Sustainable Landscapes

Sustainable landscape design considers soil health, water management, air quality, climate change, biodiversity, food production and waste management as well as the amenity of the homeowner. Sustainable landscapes can incorporate principles from Permaculture, Organic Gardening and Regenerative Agriculture to name a few. The focus is on restoring and enhancing the natural environment whilst providing for human needs.

There is no single design that will suit all properties, but the principles can be applied at any scale – from revegetation of a large rural block to designing a food forest in an urban backyard.
