Notice is given of the public exhibition of a Planning Proposal for the amendment of Bellingen Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2010.

The Planning Proposal
The intended outcomes of the proposed LEP Amendment are to;
• Amend the Land Zoning Map to provide an additional area of C2 (Environmental Conservation) Zone over the land and refine the boundary of the existing R5 (Large lot Residential Zone) on the southern part of the land.
• Amend the Lot Size Map to provide a 1ha minimum lot size over the proposed R5 zone on the southern part of the land, and provide a 20ha minimum lot size over the remaining part of the property. The Planning Proposal and other required documents will be available for viewing via the link below from Friday 20 June 2025 until Friday 18 July 2025.

Council invites interested parties to make a written submission regarding the Planning Proposal. Submissions will be received up until midnight on Friday 18 July 2025.
The Planning Proposal Authority (PPA) for the Planning Proposal is Bellingen Shire Council. Council has also been authorised to act as the Local Plan Making Authority (LPMA) in this instance.
Submissions should be emailed to council@bellingen.nsw.gov.au using the Reference Planning Proposal 26 – Submission.
