Council's administation offices will be closed from Thursday 25 December 2025 until Monday 5 January 2026. Our other facilities and services have changed operating hours over the holiday period.
Construction was completed in April 2024.
The existing footbridge from the carpark on the southern side of Connell Park to the Swimming Pool had reached its end of life and needed to be replaced with a new structure.
The new footbridge will have a width of 3 metres and will be accessible for light maintenance and emergency vehicles.
The footbridge is now open.
