Community Impacts

To manage safety there will be temporary traffic changes including reduced speed limits and lane closures, which may affect travel times.

You will need to plan for short delays at each location as they will be controlled with traffic signals. Whenever possible, priority will be given to emergency vehicles and school buses.

Please follow speed limits and the direction of traffic controllers and signs. If you have an enquiry or concern about this work you can contact Bellingen Shire Council at (02) 6655 7300 or council@bellingen.nsw.gov.au and reference the project name “Whites Quarry”.

Community Engagement

As part of our commitment to keeping you informed, we will utilise Variable Message Signs (VMS), this webpage and the Council’s social media platforms to provide updates during the work.

Your feedback and cooperation throughout this project are invaluable to us. We encourage you to reach out to us if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding the project.
