There were plenty of bums on seats at the Memorial Hall opening events put on by Events Delivered that kicked off this week.

The events showcase the many and varied performances that the newly redeveloped hall can showcase and include theatre, film, a comedy night, classical music and will finish with a contemporary music night on Saturday 3 June featuring First Beige, Funkatu and Pablo Blitzer Trio.

A number of local performances are also on the line-up including the Dorrigo Dramatic Club, Gumbaynggirr elders Auntie Lisa Kelly, Uncle Micklo Jarrett and the Budaabang Bari dancers, Rivers Dance and a couple of other surprises.

Thanks to the NSW Government for funding the new stackable seats which enabled additional floor seating to increase capacity and be able to adapt to the different needs of the events held in the amazing new space.

Tickets are still available for the classical music event on Thursday 1 June and the contemporary night on Saturday 3 June. The events are by gold coin donation only which goes to support those local groups participating in the amazing 6 night Fiesta, however you do need to book.
