"We're thrilled to facilitate this opportunity for services and community members to connect. Often these organisations operate without a physical presence in our area, making travel and isolation significant barriers to access. Through this event, we aim to bridge that gap." Expressed Mayor Cr. Steve Allan.

The Service NSW Bus will be stationed at the corner of Ford and Hyde street from 9:00am to 3:30pm offering convenient access to Government services such as the Driver Knowledge tests, Savings Finder program and access to vouchers and rebates, Working with Children Checks, births, deaths and marriage applications and driver's license applications and renewals. By banding together on a Community Service Stalls Day, we can create a one-stop shop for community members to come and learn what's on offer while helping them to access the support they need.

Community members can explore the service stalls any time between 12noon and 3pm and have a chat with the dedicated staff committed to providing support and information to help improve the livelihood of our community. A free sausage sizzle will be put on by the Neighbourhood Centre. Join us in building a more connected and supportive community for everyone.

In the event of wet weather the Service Stalls Day event will not go ahead. The Service NSW Bus will be there, rain, hail or shine.

For more information contact Council’s Community Planning Officer on 6655 7300.

In the event of wet weather, the event will be called off.
