The Bellingen Shire Council is excited to announce the upcoming Community Service Stalls Day at Maam Gaduying Park, on Wednesday 6 March from 9am - 3pm, coinciding with the visit of the NSW Service Bus to our town.

This event aims to unite various community service providers serving Bellingen Shire with our residents, bridging the gap between these vital services and those who may benefit from them most.

Expect a diverse array of service providers, including but not limited to Services Australia, Mid North Coast Health, Mission Australia, Wesley Mission, Social Futures, Neighbourhood Centres, Carers NSW, Mid North Coast Legal, NBN, Disability Advocacy, TURSA and the Care Finder Program.

Bellingen Shire Mayor, Cr Steve Allan says "We're thrilled to facilitate this opportunity for services and community members to connect face-to-face. Often these organisations operate without a physical building or space in our area, making travel and isolation significant barriers to access."

The Service NSW Bus will be stationed at the corner of Hyde St and Ford St offering access to State Government services such as: updating driver licences, photo card applications and renewals, Driver Knowledge tests, Working with Children Check applications, applying for births, deaths and marriage certificates and accessing the Savings Finder program.

For more information, contact Council’s Community Planning Officer on 6655 7300.

Please note that the Community Service Stalls Day will be cancelled in the event of wet weather, however the Service NSW bus will still be there, rain or shine.
