Creative Corner, a new pilot 'Pop Up' shop will open on Tuesday 13  December in the old Visitor Information Centre on Giinagay Way in Urunga showcasing amazing local products from here in the Bellingen Shire.

Council saw an opportunity to use the empty space to empower local makers, creatives, producers and artisans by providing a collaborative ‘Pop Up’ retail space. The space is now filled with local products ranging from ceramics to jewellery, hoola hoops, paintings and prints, woollen animals and garments, to organic tea, pasta and beef products to name a few.

Creative Corner is a pilot that will initially run from mid-December through to the last Saturday in January. So if you are all about 'supporting local' and perhaps still looking for the perfect Christmas gift for someone special, come down and check it out.

The operating hours will be Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 3pm.

Here is a sneak peak of some of the products getting ready to greet you on Tuesday.
