The North Coast Tourism Awards, a highly competitive and prestigious event organised by Destination North Coast with destination co-hosts, Tweed Shire Council and Tweed Tourism Company.  With support from the NSW Tourism Industry Council and Business NSW, the Awards celebrated the outstanding achievements of businesses operating in the Visitor Economy. The awards gala, held on 27 July at the enchanting Plantation House, a part of Tropical Fruit World, brought together industry leaders to honour excellence in tourism and showcase the very best of the North Coast region.

The North Coast Tourism Awards serve as a shining beacon for the tourism industry, recognising the tireless efforts and dedication of businesses and individuals who play a crucial role in ensuring that New South Wales remains the number one tourism destination in Australia.

This year, the winners from Bellingen Shire made a resounding impact, particularly in the categories of Excellence in Camping, Glamping, and/or Caravanning, and Outstanding Tourism Business Leader.
