Bellingen Shire Council was all set to celebrate NSW Seniors Festival with an event and lunch to be held at North Beach Bowling Club on Thursday 31 March.  However, the weather would have it otherwise and as flood waters continued to rise the event had to be called off, much to the disappointment of organisers and those attending.

However, this hasn’t deterred us. The event has a new date and will go ahead.

Thursday 28 April

North Beach Bowling Club, 429 River Street Mylestom

10am-2pm

Themed ‘It’s time to reconnect, Bellingen Shire Council has partnered with Hammond Care, Home Instead Senior Care, Australian Unity, Community Transport, Mid North Coast Legal, CareXCell, Royal Freemasons Benevolent Institution and North Beach Bowling Club to offer seniors an opportunity to socialise, get active, access information on servies and share with their community.

The day will commence at 10.00am and will include morning tea, guest speakers, entertainment and a free lunch which will be provided.

Bookings for this day are essential and can be made by contacting Council’s Community Wellbeing Planning Officer on 6655 7300 before 24 April 2022.
