Bellingen Memorial Hall

Mem-Hall-Night.jpg

First established in 1929, the Hall features classic 1920s architecture.

The Hall has been an integral part of the lively Bellingen culture, from the balls of old and the rock concerts of the seventies, to the Jazz Festival, Bello Winter Music Festival, SWIFF and many more. It's used for everything from public meetings and weekly classes to plays, gigs, movies, auctions, school events and more.

The Hall has recently had a multi-million dollar upgrade to transform the hall into a cultural hub that supports multiple events and activities. The transformation has seen significant improvements that include the venue now being fully accessible to a new and exciting multipurpose space, new deck and new audio and visual equipment.

The capacity, depending on the type of event, is up to 400 seated and 500 standing in the main hall.  The multipurpose space can also accommodate smaller intimate performances of up to 80 seated and 150 standing.

The Bellingen Memorial Hall is managed by Council with support from some amazing volunteers.
