The Zero Waste Tableware Library makes it convenient and free for you to choose a reusable option when you’re hosting your next gathering in our Shire. This means zero disposable picnic or tableware ends up in our Shire’s landfill from your event.

Whenever you choose to borrow from the Zero Waste Tableware Library, you’re not only helping our community to transition to the circular economy, you’re also helping everyone learn together about how we can each reduce our impact on the environment as well as how to reduce our carbon emissions. This means reducing our local contribution to global climate change and the impacts its having around the world and on our region.

  • Plastic production has soared from 2 million tonnes in 1950 to 348 million tonnes – and it’s set to double by 2040.
