The Bowerhouse Community Reuse Shop sells quality used, recycled and second hand products that have been salvaged before going to landfill.

Residents are encouraged to drop off unwanted but reusable items at the Reuse Shop but please note all items will be viewed by the Waste Attendants before being accepted to ensure they are in an acceptable condition for sale.

Bike Repair Drop-In Session

Saturday 25th March - 11.30am – 3.30pm, 146 Short Cut Road, Raleigh.

Drop into the Bowerhouse with your bike for some rapid repairs and maintenance!  Our experienced bike mechanics will show you how to fix it and complete simple repairs on your bike.  Please note you do not need to book for the bike drop-in session, just show up on the day during the times mentioned above.

 

Clothing Repairs and Upcycling Workshop

Saturday 1st April - 12.30pm – 3.30pm, 146 Short Cut Road, Raleigh.

Take the first step to a more sustainable wardrobe!  In this workshop you will learn how to undertake a range of clothing repairs and upcycling techniques. This will involve using sewing machines, and hand stitching.  Beginners welcome!
