Bellingen Shire Council is delighted to announce the appointment of Todd Williams as the new Deputy General Manager - Corporate & Community, after a highly competitive recruitment process that drew an impressive pool of talented candidates. Todd has been successfully acting in this pivotal role for the past nine months, demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment. In his new role, Todd will spearhead a dynamic team responsible for overseeing critical functions in finance, community partnerships, corporate services, and sustainable environment. As the Deputy General Manager for the Corporate & Community Division, Todd will provide invaluable high-level advice, driving positive change to fuel our community's growth and strengthen our community relationships. Todd brings with him a wealth of experience, from the private sector and has served in various roles with Local Councils throughout Sydney. He is widely recognised for his creative cultural practice and influence in community policy & planning, involving innovative ways to get the job done. Todd joined Bellingen Shire Council in June 2019 as the Executive Manager Organisational Strategy and Communications. During his tenure, Todd has consistently proven himself as an effective leader, successfully leading diverse teams and delivering impactful programs. His knowledge of local government, coupled with his background in communication and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, make him the ideal candidate for the role of Deputy General Manager for the Corporate & Community Division. Mark Griffioen, the General Manager of Bellingen Shire Council, expressed his enthusiasm for the appointment, stating, "Over the past nine months, Todd has played an integral role in nurturing a culture of collaboration, openness, and honesty among our staff, making him well-prepared for this significant role within our organisation.
