Seniors Festival

Each year, Bellingen Shire Council proudly celebrates the NSW Seniors Festival – the largest annual event for seniors in the Southern Hemisphere. As part of this statewide celebration, Council puts together a diverse program of activities, events, and opportunities designed to recognise and celebrate the contributions of older people in our community.

Celebrating our Seniors from social events to wellness workshops and educational sessions, there’s something for everyone. The festival is a chance to:

• Stay active and engaged
• Connect with others
• Discover new interests
• Access local services and information

Events are held across the Bellingen Shire each year and are free or low-cost, making them accessible for all.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Seniors Festival. Our 2026 program of events has now concluded.

We appreciate the enthusiasm and involvement of our community, as well as the support of local organisations who helped make the festival such a success.
