Bellingen Shire's Seniors Festival runs as part of the NSW Seniors Festival, which is the largest celebration of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Each year there is a different theme.

The Festival’s theme for 2024 is "Reach Beyond" a wonderful theme that encourages older members of our community to seek out new experiences and make new friends by participating in the festivities. Our vision is to be connected sustainable and creative and care for and include everyone.

In preparation for the 2024 Seniors Festival we are seeking interest from your organisation or group.

Council invites your organisation to participate in NSW Seniors Festival 2024 by holding a special event between 11 - 24 March. Your event should be open to all seniors, focus on, and celebrate the valuable contribution seniors have made, and continue to make, to the life of our community. Some suggestions for Seniors Festival events are: A special morning tea, afternoon tea or lunch Concerts, social get togethers or special film screenings Leisure and health activities Demonstrations or tours, displays and exhibitions.

As part of the festival we hold an expo with stallholders. If you are a service or organisation that supports seniors and would like to have a stall on the day or would like more information please email community@bellingen.nsw.gov.au or call 6655 7300.
