This community consultation has now closed.

At its April Ordinary Meeting, Bellingen Shire Council resolved to place the Draft Modern Slavery Policy on public exhibition. The community is encouraged to review and respond the draft document throughout this period. 
 

The draft Modern Slavery Policy illustrates Council's commitment to ensuring its operations and supply chains are not linked to modern slavery. It supports Council’s responsibility to take reasonable steps when procuring goods and services, in line with its reporting obligations to the NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner and through its Annual Report.
