This stage of the project will provide reticulated sewerage infrastructure to the estate and reduce reliance on individual on-site sewage management systems.
The project will include the construction of a new gravity sewer network within the Raleigh Industrial Estate, along with a new sewer pump station connecting the estate to the Urunga Sewerage Treatment Plant.
As part of the works, Council will install a sewer connection point, or connection stub, for each lot. This will allow individual properties to connect to the new sewerage system once the Council infrastructure is commissioned and available for use.
Construction is expected to take approximately 12 to 18 months to complete, with early works beginning in August 2026.
