About the Project
Coopers Lane between Newry Street East and Bowra Street is a narrow residential lane in Urunga. The lane consists of a recently reconstructed section at the northern end that was built as a condition of a Development Application Consent. The remainder of the lane consists of single lane bitumen formation that is in poor condition with poor drainage.
Project Scope
Bellingen Shire Council intends to reconstruct the southern half of Coopers Lane with a pavement rehabilitation including new kerb and gutter to match the recently completed works at the northern end of the lane.
Community Impacts
Once road works start there will be traffic control on the road periodically, meaning there may be some delays through work zones. During any major disruptions, notifications to the community will be provided via online channels and VMS boards.
