About the Project
South Arm Road stretches from Urunga to Brierfield. The road is severely degrading and narrow in sections. Councils Road Maintenance crew will be undertaking rehabilitation and widening works to improve the condition of the road.
Project Scope
Bellingen Shire Council will be undertaking 580 metres of full pavement rehabilitation on the highest priority sections of South Arm Road. Council will also be widening the road to 6 metres where possible.
Community Impacts
Once road works start there will be traffic control on the road periodically, meaning there may be some delays through work zones. During any major disruptions, notifications to the community will be provided via online channels and VMS boards.
